WMP Water Supply Support in Bohol After Typhoon Odette
Following a request from the Office of the Presidential Representative for the Bohol region, Watermatic Philippines Corporation (WMP) responded swiftly to the urgent need for clean water after Typhoon Odette severely damaged the island’s water infrastructure.
In partnership with the Office of the Presidential Representative, a leading infrastructure company, and another private infrastructure partner, WMP deployed its technical team and mobile water treatment units to restore access to safe drinking water. The initiative ensured continuous supply to evacuation centers and remote barangays where local systems had been destroyed.
The coordinated effort combined logistical support, on-site expertise, and close collaboration with local authorities — demonstrating WMP’s strong commitment to community service and emergency response in times of national crisis.
Through this humanitarian mission, WMP reaffirmed its mission to strengthen water resilience and support Filipino communities in times of crisis, ensuring that access to clean water remains a basic right for all.
